These cool cats will be shakin’ it up across 5 stages during the ChromeFest weekend, 25 – 27 October.

Be-Bop-A-Lula

Be-Bop-A-Lula’ is a well presented, totally live, four piece, show and dance band. It performs vintage Rock & Roll music delivering a quality sound with harmony vocals and encourages dancers and listeners to have a good time.

The band is proud to perform the music of Australian Rock & Roll legends Johnny O’Keefe, Col Joye, and Lonnie Lee as well as the music of Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Bill Haley & the Comets, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and more.

Cherry Divine

Cherry Divine’s passion for music started when she was very little, but it wasn’t until she was introduced to Wanda Jackson that her love for Rockabilly truly blossomed, and the rest they say is history.
Cherry is a mixture of Wanda, Imelda, Josie, and Janis with her own personal style thrown in.

DJ Dean

Dean Riot is a vintage music DJ, specialising in 1920s-1970s styles. After being exposed to this era music while taking dance classes at age 10, he was first introduced to DJ work at age 15 during a dance contest. He has been playing at and hosting events ever since. His passion has extended to clothes, if he’s not behind the decks or on the dancefloor you’ll find him regularly hunting through vintage stores for original threads!

DJ George Galea

DJ George ‘Houndog’ Galea has been a fixture in the entertainment industry since 1976. Aside from DJing, George is also a professional compare, announcer, and Rock N Roll Dancer, Teacher/Instructor and one of the Founding Members Of The United Rockabilly And Rock n Roll Federation Of Australia. His energetic personality and collection of classic hits transport audiences back to The Happy Days Of Rock N Roll.

DJ The Kid Glenn London

DJ The Kid Glenn London has been part of the Jive A Boogie DJ Service Team and Sydney’s Live Rock n Roll Entertainment Agency Since 1995. 

The Kid’s Talents as a Rock n Roll DJ need to be seen as his style is always Vibrant, Explosive and full of Energy. Rock n Roll and is not just a Job but a Passion, His Knowledge of 50’s & 60’s and The Classic Hits from the 70’s are second to none. Glenn’s Objective as a Professional DJ is to keep people On the Dance

Floor all Night as he Play’s all The Old Favourites form the 50’s & 60’s and 70’s with announcing the Tunes as we say in the Industry The Old School Way!

DJ Vinnie

Robert Vincent (DJ “Vinnie”) has been working as a DJ for more than 19 years in clubs for dance nights, band support, and private functions. One of Robert’s special skills is reading a crowd and keeping the music and dancing going.

Robert has supplied music on the main stage at Chromefest since its inception in 2009.

The Flattrakkers

20 YEARS!! Yes, 20 years since The Flattrakkers entered the Rockabilly, Roots & Punk Blues scene and haven’t slowed down, maintaining their presence with listeners right across Australia and the world! The Boys have headlined almost every Major Rockabilly festival across Australia and New Zealand, have had their songs featured in Movies, TV shows and Commercials, plus receive regular airtime across rockabilly and Punk Blues radio shows, as well as being heavily featured at speedway tracks around the world.

The Hellcat III

Originating from the Central Coast, The Hellcat III is an explosive blend of neo-rockabilly and surf guitar. Since making their debut in February 2015, this group of seasoned musicians have performed in front of thousands of rockabilly, dance and kustom kulture enthusiasts throughout Australia. This classic trio of guitar, double bass and drums offer an exciting blend of traditional, new and unique rockabilly music.

Kid James

Kid James (James Schembri) is the new kid on the block in the Melbourne Rockabilly scene. A 21-year-old singer/songwriter and guitarist performing original and authentic Rockabilly tunes just like teenagers did in the 1950s!

‘Kid’ James is the new and upcoming Rockabilly sensation. Be sure to catch him at ChromeFest 2024 as he will not disappoint!

Lance Lipinsky & The Lovers

Hailing from the USA, Texas’ Lance Lipinsky preserves American roots genres as a songwriter and unforgettable live entertainer with show-stopping boogie woogie piano antics with his band the Lovers. Lance & the Lovers is influenced by the Atomic mid-century birth of Rock & Roll era of the 1950s and early 60’s.

LilG

LilG grew up listening to a variety of musicians and genres that have played an influential role in shaping her signature sound.

They say music is the language of the soul. It’s certainly true for LilG. Since taking up guitar in 2019 LilG has earned a notable reputation as a unique Musician.

The Steve Edmonds Band – Mescalero have wowed audiences across the country with their high-energy brand of funky blues, roots/rock.

Steve’s passion, together with hard work and talent, has steadily amassed a large following on the East Coast of Australia.

Pacific Belles

Betty, Dot and Mabel will take you on a journey back in time to re-live all your favourite classics including ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’, ‘Don’t Sit under the Apple Tree’, In the Mood and many more.

The Pacific Belles are Australia’s hottest retro-style singing trio seen on TV and heard on Radio.

They have been dubbed “Australia’s very own Andrews Sisters”.

The Rockin Mustangs

The Rockin Mustangs have been together for the last four years. In that short time they have already gained a place as one of Sydney’s popular rock and roll bands.

The Mustangs are four musicians with many years of musical and vocal experience. Though primarily a rock n roll band they cover Rhythm and blues, country, country rock, some seventies, and eighties. Mostly they love audience participation.
